Thomas D. Wilson created beautiful metalwork and fine jewelry for over 30 years, and his signature item — the Wilson Cup — has been sold worldwide since 1983. In making these commemorative cups, traditional techniques are used in conjunction with a new and wholly unique technology developed by the artist himself. After the cup is formed on a spinning mandrill, the artists attaches a sculptured casting — a horse head, a company logo, or any other image aa customer may desire — created by Thomas D. Wilson and cast in the lost-wax technique. The cup is then coated with a fine silver in the Sheffield plate method of silverware manufacturing. Handcrafted in Louisville, Kentucky. | |||||||||||
