This is a remarkable photograph of a broodmare band racing over their new paddock just before a heavy summer thunderstorm. Photographed on King Ranch on Old Frankfort Pike outside Lexington. These mares had just been led through a seldom used tunnel under Old Frankfort Pike that connects Darby Dan Farm with King Ranch. Both farms were originally the famous Col. Bradley's Idle Hour Farm.

Signed and numbered prints are limited to an edition size of 2000 prints. Sorry, mini-print versions of this image are not available.
